Mercury audio

MERCURY AUDIO is a controller that enables playback and generation of audio messages, which are triggered based on the current status of inputs/outputs or signals transmitted within Ethernet, CAN and RS networks. The signal is generated by a speaker connected to a power amplifier located in the device or routed to a line output. The audio material is stored in files (e.g. mp3) of the controller’s memory or on an MMC/SD card. MERCURY AUDIO is a programmable sound generator, so it is possible to define the signals that control playback or create your own scripted programs.

MERCURY AUDIO is equipped with dedicated software, which facilitates the process of initial start-up of the device and its further use. From the software level it is possible to:

  • configure the parameters of the device,
  • viewing the status of the device,
  • changing the software in the device,
  • management of audio material,
  • provision of statistical information.

Application of MERCURY AUDIO

The audio synthesizer can be used in rail vehicles, special vehicles and buses, as:

  • an element of an interactive dashboard – the ability to play training instructions.
  • element of a system that supports saving (e.g., energy) – hints and tips for the driver.
  • element playing voice messages – information about the current state of the vehicle and its sub-systems.

The device can operate at temperatures down to -25°C to 70°C. Compliant with EN50155, ISO 7637-2.

MERCURY AUDIO + Speech

MERCURY AUDIO + Speech is another version of the controller, which is equipped with a speech and voice message synthesizer. The generation of information is triggered by signals sent via Ethernet, CAN, RS or digital inputs. The device is compatible with MERCURY AUDIO and has all its advantages, making it suitable for use in mobile and industrial applications, among others. Configuration is done using the software MercuryMa.
