APOLLO PROTECT
APOLLO PROTECT is an anti-collision system for detecting the presence of a person/vehicle near another vehicle or in a specific zone. When loading and unloading forklifts, operators must be extra vigilant. Insufficient visibility, blind spots or noise on the shop floor are just a few of the risk factors that can lead to a collision. That’s why the use of forklift safety modules and an indoor location system makes it possible to provide a much higher level of safety for people on the hall.
Apollo Protect – ensure the safety of your employees
The APOLLO Protect anti-collision controller also informs you of potentially dangerous situations and enables you to prevent them, including by generating light and sound signals in real time (reversing beacon). At this point, the operator can immediately take preventive action, such as reducing vehicle speed.
The system’s modules are placed on forklifts, walls and racks. They are also received by personnel. As a result, any danger is quickly detected and employees are immediately informed of it. The system displays how many people are in the danger zone and their exact position.
The integration of the control system with vehicle electronics also makes it possible to reduce speed automatically, without human intervention (speed reduction module). If an accident/incident occurs, the system automatically sends information to a server via GSM or Wi-Fi. In addition, Apollo Protect can be used to:
- real-time notification of the occurrence of a dangerous event,
- presentation and analysis of the previous history of dangerous situations, as well as “dangerous operators”,
- presentation of the history of travel routes,
- analyzing the places/zones where dangerous situations most often occur,
- presentation of the current position of vehicles and current warnings and alerts,
- controlling the system’s standby status, including, among other things, the state of battery charge.
The customer receives access to the information via a web browser – from a PC or mobile device. Stand-alone’ access is also possible. In such a situation, the server is installed in the client’s IT resources or “in cloud” form.
Application of Apollo Protect system
Apollo Protect warehouse security system is used in:
- in warehouses and yards,
- In production halls and yards,
- in other places where preventive measures are needed to avoid machine-human collisions.
