ZEUS RAIL<\/strong> is a system belonging to the ZEUS<\/a> family of solutions. It is used for diagnostics and remote monitoring of rail vehicles, including streetcars, multiple units and locomotives. The modular design of the ZEUS RAIL system allows its free configuration and adaptation to individual customer needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ZEUS RAIL combines the function of remote vehicle monitoring and diagnostics with a mechanism for managing maintenance work<\/strong> (in accordance with documentation and guidelines provided by machine and vehicle manufacturers). Maintenance history is available to the user in the form of an electronic vehicle book.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Construction of the ZEUS RAIL system<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ZEUS RAIL system consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Zeus Core – this is a device with software that uses GPS, GSM and interfaces for on-board communication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Zeus Server – this is the server-based communication software and database engine that is used for data acquisition and archiving.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Zeus Management Application – this is an application that uses a web browser. It allows access to vehicle data from anywhere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The main module<\/strong> of the ZEUS RAIL system allows registration of alarm events, remote diagnostics of the vehicle, remote management of the vehicle, localization of the vehicle and generation of reports and statistics<\/strong>. In addition, the system can be equipped with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Complementary modules – support of economic driving, cooperation with video monitoring, warning of dangers, remote vehicle panel and integration with passenger information system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Service modules – management of service and maintenance work, reporting of defects to the electronic vehicle book, and notification and service inspections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Other modules – VPN connection to on-board controllers (HMI and PLC) and transmission of vehicle position information (what time the vehicle was at a given location) to on-board equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
